A totally different beginning!

Sounds New has created an extraordinary Dawn Chorus in Blean Woods near Canterbury.  Our ‘dawn chorus with a difference’ will not only feature our finest winged singers, courtesy of Mother Nature, but also contemporary saxophonist Evan Parker and local music students keen to participate in this Festival event.

From the A290 Canterbury to Whitstable road turn into Rough common Road

look for the brown sign to Blean Woods  (near a bus shelter) which is on a junction into Ross Gardens then follow the sign and  track up to a marked car park on the right. there, stewards will guide you to the Dawn Chorus walk
