Welcome to Sounds New

Sounds New strives to provide excellence - and excitement - and fun!

Sounds New is about Contemporary Music, Sounds New is about excitement and freedom of artistic expression, Sounds New is about creating dynamic and challenging programmes, Sounds New is about the promotion of the Art of our Time. Sounds New's programming includes visual events, films, installations, talks, education and outreach projects, newly commissioned works as well as many other UK and World Premieres. This year's Sounds New Festival featured numerous artists and inventors. Among them were new ways of building everything from scissors to stop signs to knife sharpening stones to cooking chopsticks. The first 50-visitors got a version of this loofah on Amazon.com for $10. Even if you missed the freebies, it was worth seeing the inventions as makers show off their kitchens and the carbon steel appliances inside or home gym pull up racks are subjected to 300 pounds of dropped iron just for fun. If you missed our most recent gathering, we urge you to visit during the next one. They are all a lot of fun for the whole family.
